Vega announces return

Broadbent’s laundry division has informed customers that their partners, Vega Systems, based in the Netherlands are back from a short period of administration.
Steve Childs, general manager at Broadbent said: “Many will know that Vega Systems BV were forced into administration at the end of March due to a combination of factors. The trustees kept the business running fully during the administration and the management team were able to acquire all of the assets of Vega Systems BV, ensuring that the Vega brand and all of the knowledge and intellectual property will continue.
“Broadbent and the management team in the Netherlands are keen to emphasise that all existing delivery commitments, warranties and service agreements will be honoured. Broadbent has, of course, continued to provide service and support to all of our customers but we are delighted that we can continue to work closely with Vega, a key partner.”
In their own statement Huub Hoffmann, sales director at VEGA systems said: “After a period of hard work and dedication we are happy to announce that we are back! As of 1 May, VG-Systems Industrial BV has acquired all the assets of VEGA systems BV from the trustee Dirk School of BG Legal.
“This means that the brand and products of VEGA systems will continue with the same staff and management at the same location in Oss, The Netherlands.”
“The time between the 28 March and 1 May has been used to deliver some specific projects and to restructure. This means we will continue with a revised organisation which will concentrate on the development and manufacturing of industrial laundry equipment. All the VEGA systems products will be manufactured in the Netherlands in cooperation with local suppliers and manufacturers.”
All Vega systems and contact information will stay the same and Broadbent Laundry look forward to supplying the projects in hand and to further success in the UK with Vega Systems equipment.
