UK award winners take prizes at Global Best Practices Awards 2024

An international jury has awarded two of our best UK businesses in CINET’s Global Best Practice Awards following evaluation by an independent, international jury out of 125 applications from 40 countries.

American Dry Cleaning Company were awarded the Country Award as well as coming fifth place in the category Retail Textile Cleaning (Big). They are a previous winner at our own Laundry and Drycleaning Awards – the LADAs – winning Drycleaner/Wetcleaner of the Year in 2019 and the Green Impact Award in 2022.

At the CINET awards Edinburgh-based Elite Drycleaners took fourth place in the category Retail Textile Cleaning (SME). Elite Drycleaners are the three-times winner of the Drycleaner/Wetcleaner of the Year at the LADAs, in 2018, 2020 and 2023.

Both are very deserving winners on the international stage.

The awards were handed out during an official flag ceremony at Texcare International in Frankfurt last November. This was part of the first World Congress for Professional Textile Care. This event was set up to highlight Best Practices in professional textile care and demonstrates the high international standards in quality, sustainability, and innovation the industry applies.
