The new year rings changes at Kannegiesser

The start of 2021 will see a management change at Kannegiesser as Martin Kannegiesser is to step down as chairman.

Daughter Tina will take over to lead the company that has 2,000 employees and group turnover of more than 400 million euros. Kannegiesser is active in 54 countries and has 16 subsidiaries of its own, whose work has been coordinated by Tina Kannegiesser for some time.

She will be supported and accompanied by three non-family directors: Engelbert Heinz (technology), Thomas Doppmeier (business administration and finance) and Otto Burger (marketing and sales).

The company started in 1948 and has developed from a pure machine supplier to a technological partner of the industrial laundry. The company has a UK manufacturing base in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
