New location. New venue. The LADAs 2023 will rock.

We do like to be beside the seaside. Which is great news as the brand new venue for the Laundry and Drycleaning Awards – The LADAs 2023 – has been announced as The Grand Brighton.

The event takes place on Thursday 2 November 2023 and guests will be wined and dined in the dazzling Empress Suite at The Grand, said to be the biggest sea-facing suite in the UK.

Organiser Mark Gleed says, “This will certainly be a celebration on a grand scale with the space at The Grand Brighton giving us the opportunity to make this the biggest LADAs event to date. “This is our ninth LADAs and it has grown year on year. Feedback has always been extremely positive, and Mercedes-Benz World has worked for us brilliantly over the years, but we felt the time was right to make a change and do things differently. After a lengthy search up and down the country, the prestigious The Grand Brighton was selected.

“It’s a fantastic space for an event with easy travel options nearby and plenty of rooms for people to stay overnight, and even for the weekend! We are very excited about how we can create a new LADAs experience in Brighton.”

Details of the event are being finalised but guests can expect a glamorous and fun night with a champagne reception, three-course meal and great entertainment. Of course the highlight of the evening, and the reason we’re all brought together, is to recognise and celebrate our industry talent by announcing the winners of each of the LADAs categories. First, we need your thoughts on who you think deserves to be a winner. You can nominate companies, individuals, services and products across all sectors of the textile care industry. Take a look around at your industry peers (or should that now be piers!) and ask yourself who has been making a difference – or making waves, perhaps – in the industry over the last year and submit a nomination now.
