Last Thursday 3 November Mercedes-Benz World was packed with over 320 guests attending the Laundry & Drycleaning Awards 2022 – the LADAs!

The event first launched in 2015 after establishing a gap in the market to identify and celebrate the best in the industry. And that gap has been well and truly filled as this has now become a firm fixture on the annual industry event calendar.

The event attracts people and teams from right across the industry spectrum from the big supplier names to the family run high street businesses. It’s a wonderful way for the industry to gather together and recognise and celebrate the shining stars amongst us.

This year the evening started with a champagne reception as guests mingled amongst classic and new Mercedes-Benz cars. After taking their seats for dinner guests were then entertained, fed and watered for the evening before the award ceremony took place.

The evening was orchestrated brilliantly once again by our wonderful compere, Mark Jones. Emily Reed entertained with her singing throughout the meal and Will Gray worked the room with his magic. The comedy set was performed by Mark Walker who had the audience in stitches.

The larger crowd at the LADAs this year meant that we raised even more money for our chosen charity – Pancreatic Cancer UK. Between the generosity of our guests, as well as the kind donations received, our raffle raised over £3,000! A staggering amount. Thank you to everyone for helping us to support this amazing charity.
