Shah honoured to represent Her Majesty The Queen at Jubilee events

Vikas Shah is the CEO of Swiscot Group, the parent company of Linen Connect. He received an MBE for Services to Business and the Economy in 2018, and in 2021 was appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant of Greater Manchester.

In his role as Deputy Lieutenant, Shah, when in this official capacity, represents Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant, Sir Warren Smith, and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth at events. Over Jubilee weekend, Shah and his Deputy Lieutenant colleagues were busy across Greater Manchester attending a range of civil and community functions commemorating Her Majesty’s 70 years on the throne.

Shah attended the lighting of a Jubilee Beacon in Salford (Greater Manchester), and also represented the lieutenancy at events including one where over 200 Harley Davidson owners from around the North West did a ride-out to raise money for North West Air Ambulance. The Lieutenancy is one of the UK’s most interesting, and important, institutions dating back to Tudor times.
