Oxwash launches in London
Oxwash has opened for business in London for the first time, following the brand’s success in Oxford and Cambridge.
Part of a larger scale up plan – which sees the company eye global expansion – the London launch marks the first major city in which Oxwash will operate. Setting up shop in Battersea, their ‘lagoon’ will offer an on-demand laundry and drycleaning service to the majority of SW postcodes via its blue, eco-friendly eCargo bicycles.
This latest announcement comes after a bumper year for the company. During the pandemic Oxwash were able to service GPs and clinics due to their medical-grade laundry technology typically used in spaceship and hospital sterilisation.
Oxwash uses ozone disinfection and deodourisation technology to provide coronavirus disinfection for customers in Oxford. Customers include the NHS and Oxford Vaccine Trial. Oxwash ensure the eradication of bacterial, fungal, and viral agents in customers’ items by combining ozone disinfection with thermal and biodegradable chemical processes to achieve greater than pharmaceutical-grade disinfection.
Kyle Grant, CEO and co-founder, said, “We’re fortunate and excited that we were able to launch ahead of the second UK lockdown, and support our local community through the winter ahead. We are committed to bringing Londoners a service which is simple, sustainable and enjoyable to use.”
