Obituary: Priscilla Ladha

We are sad to share the news of the passing of Priscilla Ladha. Priscilla’s career in the hotel industry spanned five decades, with significant time spent in senior and executive housekeeping positions with the Hilton group in London and internationally.

She was also co-founder and director of Omni Facilities Management, a leading UK outsourced provider of housekeeping services to over 200 hotels across the UK and Netherlands, employing over 5000 people and responsible for servicing over 8,000,000 rooms a year, with a group turnover of over £50 million per annum. Until very recently she remained actively involved in the business.

She was a great friend to many in the housekeeping world and a very valued member of the UK Housekeeping Association (UKHA) family for many years.

In 2020 Priscilla was recognised for her dedication to the industry as she was presented with the Hotel Housekeeping Honours award – the HHH Award – for Lifetime Achievement.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is given in recognition of the contribution made by an individual, throughout their working career, in the hospitality industry. This award recognised the service she provided to the hospitality industry with unconditional and unreserved time, passion, energy and inspiration for in excess of 40 years.
