Obituary: Len Hazell
We are sad to report the recent death of Len Hazell, formerly technical sales manager at James Armstrong & Co Ltd, Newbury.
Jeremy Lowes writes: “Len joined Armstrong in 1982 and after a period on the shop floor at our Perivale factory, became the company’s manager for large installations, then service manager. Latterly he took over responsibility for technical commercial sales, where for many years he was hugely popular both in our company and the wider industry, as well as proving outstandingly successful with sales of Lapauw industrial laundry equipment.
Len was a Liveryman in The Worshipful Company of Launderers and finally retired from Armstrong after the company was acquired by Hughes Electrical in 2018.
Our thoughts are with Len’s family and friends.
