Maxi-Press expands down under

Germany’s spare parts manufacturer continues to grow steadily and has recently started operations in Australia.

In October 2019, Maxi-Press – one of the world market leaders for dewatering membranes – started a participation in the Australian company Cobro. Cobro, based in Brisbane, is one of the leading Australian service companies for industrial and commercial laundries.

“In Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea, Cobro is an established brand for service and quality products for the laundry industry – such as consumables for ironers, feeders and folders,” reports Maxi-Press MD Tim Zaiser.

“This makes the company the perfect partner for our worldwide expansion.” Seven service technicians are distributed throughout Australia and New Zealand and are responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance and repairs.

Maxi-Press carries more than 6,000 special and spare parts for laundry machines of all current manufacturers such as JENSEN, Kannegiesser, Passat, Lavatec or Transferon, which the company delivers worldwide quickly and at competitive prices.

“Together with Cobro and thanks to the large warehouse in Brisbane, we can offer our products, but also our expertise and services with even greater regional diver si f icat ion,” summarises Zaiser.
