MAXI‐PRESS expand expertise to other laundry areas

Since the beginning of the year, laundry brand MAXIPRESS has been managing the sales and brands of Elastopress and Polytex.

In addition to the product portfolio and brand rights, the spare parts manufacturer for industrial laundries is taking over the production facilities and employees of both companies in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany.

MAXI-PRESS took over the products and brands of Elastopress at the beginning of the year and has also been continuing the business of Polytex with its portfolio since March 1. The MAXI-PRESS Group now owns around 10 company holdings in Germany, Europe, the USA, China and Australia, as well as subsidiaries in the laundry accessories sector.

The worldwide laundry customers of Elastopress especially appreciate the quality of the laminated spring coverings and steel fibre felt mat (Schwaben mat) as well as the experience of the company. Other products developed in-house in the field of ironer supplies, which have a perfect functional match with the lamella, are care products such as ironer bed cleaning and waxing cloths, cleaning pastes, press pads for laundry presses as well as press covers, air bellows and ironer covers.

Polytex focuses its offer on lockers for laundries in exclusive distribution for the countries Germany, Austria and Switzerland. These lockers enable quick and uncomplicated exchange of dirty and clean employee laundry via the locker itself. In addition, the company offers mangle textiles, waxing and cleaning cloths for small ironers.

“The Elastopress and Polytex products perfectly complement our existing portfolio for large industrial laundries and will enable us to comprehensively serve all large-scale laundries in the future,” said Tim Zaiser, managing director of MAXI-PRESS Elastomertechnik GmbH.
