On 1 March 2023 Lynx Dry Cleaning Supplies announced that they have acquired Westvale Linen Supplies.

Westvale is a family run business founded in 1989 by John and Marion Spinks. It remained in the same family and was run by their children John and Roberta. Westvale are suppliers of commercial grade kitchen, table linen, chef uniforms, aprons and laundry bags. Westvale gained its reputation for providing an outstanding level of customer service as well as for providing great quality products at highly competitive prices throughout the UK and Europe.

Lynx Dry Cleaning Supplies started in 2005 in a single railway arch, supplying a single product and has over a very short period grown to supplying everything a drycleaner, launderer or bridal shop may require from their 35,000 sq ft warehouses in Hainault, Essex.

On the acquisition, Maz Iqbal from Lynx said: “Lynx has always been a progressive company looking to add companies to bring under our umbrella to join recent acquisitions such as Alex Reid, Coverpress, the drycleaning/laundry/bridal arms of Eastpac and G & R Spares. With national distribution systems in place we believe that with this new exciting addition Lynx and Westvale will become a more dynamic and efficient partnership.
