Laundryheap launches express overnight service in London
On-demand laundry service provider Laundryheap has launched a new overnight service in London. Laundryheap Express Overnight will return customer laundry in as little as ten hours; this is more than twice as fast as the 24-hour industry standard.
Londoners will now be able to have their laundry collected before 10pm, professionally cleaned, and returned to homes and offices as early as 8am the next morning. The service offers Londoners unparalleled laundry convenience, with market-leading speed that doesn’t compromise on quality.
The overnight service will initially cover most areas of central London including Hammersmith, Fulham, Battersea, Brixton, Canary Wharf and Stratford, with plans to expand the service across the city in the coming months.
London is only the second global market to have access to Laundryheap Express Overnight. The service first launched in Dubai in May this year, and overnight requests were quickly making up five per cent of all orders.
Laundryheap has a strong international presence: since starting up in London in 2014, the company now operates in thirteen global markets, including Singapore, the Netherlands and France. London is Laundryheap’s biggest market, accounting for over 50 per cent of global orders and 80 per cent of orders in the UK.
Laundryheap has made several significant acquisitions over the past three years, including France’s Wast and the UK’s Laundrapp. It most recently acquired Oppa Laundry: a trusted name in on-demand laundry and drycleaning services in Singapore.
Deyan Dimitrov, CEO and founder at Laundryheap, comments: “Laundryheap was born on a rainy evening here in London. When we started Laundryheap in 2014, getting clothes cleaned within 24 hours was virtually impossible; let alone overnight. It’s only fitting that we are now bringing our first-of-its-kind overnight service to our busy and bustling home city.
“Laundryheap Express Overnight is redefining convenience and setting a new global benchmark for speed in the on-demand laundry market. Londoners can leave their laundry to us, and spend more of their time doing what they love.”
Laundryheap Express Overnight launched in London via the Laundryheap app on Tuesday 16 September. The overnight service will cost an additional £7.95 for delivery. To qualify for Laundryheap Express Overnight, orders must be placed before 10pm. Orders will be delivered by 12pm the following day.
