This is it … your LADA finalists revealed

And it’s a special one this year as the LADAs celebrate their fifth birthday. This is an event that started back in 2014 as a small gathering of industry professionals at a venue in Reading, celebrating the people and businesses that were making a difference in the laundry, Dry cleaning and textile services industry.

Today, the event is quite different. It’s bigger. It’s better. It’s grown year on year and is now considered as THE event to attend and it brings together the entire industry for an evening of celebration and fun. The backdrop is the spectacular Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey. Everyone is dressed up in their black tie finery. Guests start the evening with champagne amongst stunning cars from the beautiful classics to the latest in Formula One.

Even if you’re not a car fan the whole setting is stunning. It’s a perfect chance to network and catch up with industry colleagues for a lovely evening. There’s a three-course meal followed by some great entertainment and a raffle to support Pancreatic Cancer UK – a national charity dedicated exclusively to supporting research to improve diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.

We receive some fantastic donations from across the industry for this raffle and last year we raised £4,000 for this amazing charity. We hope to beat this in November! The highlight of the event is of course dedicated to celebrating the stars of the night.

The winners of the LADAs 2019 are announced at the end of the evening and take to the stage to receive their award. It really is a night of recognising true talent, innovation and dedication in the industry.
