“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” – Gandhi

The Worshipful Company of Launderers, supported by the Oliver Family Education Trust, has organised their next Leadership Conference with an impressive line up of speakers to talk to the theme of motivation.

Motivation is what causes us to act or choose not to. What lessons did the pandemic teach us about motivating ourselves and our teams and how can we maintain our motivation to grow our industry in the face of today’s changing marketplace. That will be the theme of the discussion.

The Worshipful Company of Launderers is holding the third Oliver Family Education Fund seminar with speakers from industry, sport and the armed forces to share their motivational philosophies.

Current speakers include Tessa Sanderson CBE, Olympic and European Gold medallist; Barnaby Perks, CEO and entrepreneur; Lt Col Georgina Symonds, commanding officer ports and maritime corps of the Royal Logistics Regiment; and Dr Vikas Shah MBE DL, CEO Swiscot Group.

These speakers will share how their careers and organisations were built upon effective motivation and outline how we can learn from their experiences to benefit both ourselves and those we work with.

The event takes place on Tuesday 13 February, 9.30am – 3pm, at Glaziers/ Launderers Hall, LONDON SE1 9DD. Cost is £50 + VAT per person. Contact the Worshipful Company of Launderers directly to book your place.
