Furloughed driver goes the extra mile
‘Massive shout out to Paul Woodward who is one of our Chester HGV drivers who is currently on Furlough.’
Johnsons Hotel Linens have given praise to one of their Chester HGV drivers who is currently out of work. To quote Johnsons’:
“Massive shout out to Paul Woodward who is one of our Chester HGV drivers who is currently on Furlough. With his wife, the couple have been in recent weeks regularly providing meals for the homeless in Chester including people staying in accommodation we continue to service through the crisis. So we couldn’t be more proud to hear of him providing food directly to those most in need staying in customers we service. He has now been supported by other members of the local transport team who have also made donations towards his efforts. Paul is one of many people volunteering in his own time and we are proud of his efforts and contributions locally. He’s one of the many unsung heroes doing their bit! Great effort Paul! Well done and thank you.”
