Electrolux awarded top employer status

For the fifth year in a row, the Top Employers Institute has awarded Electrolux Top Employer status in the UK and Ireland for creating exceptional employee conditions and being an advanced employer.

Electrolux stood out in the areas of business strategy, values, ethics and integrity, talent acquisition and leadership. Outside of the UK, the company has also been certified a Top Employer in countries across Europe including in Sweden, Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany and France.

Luke Harding, general manager UK & Ireland at Electrolux UK, which includes the Electrolux Professional division said: “2020 was an unprecedented year for our UK businesses, creating unique challenges for us as an employer. I am exceptionally proud of our team for the successful pivot to working from home – for many of our HQ staff – and to team members who continue to streamline business operations for our customers and retail partners in the current climate.

“Despite the many changes to our ways of working, Electrolux has continued to focus on creating the best conditions to support both the safety and wellbeing of our employees, and we continue to learn and grow as the situation with Covid changes.

We are incredibly proud to once again receive Top Employer status – an accolade which is testament to our strong position in the employment market today.” The Top Employers Institute has been recognising excellence in people practices for 30 years across 120 countries and regions. The certification is awarded to organisations that demonstrate the highest standards of employee offerings.
