Clean Supply end year on a high
Clean Supply come to the end of 2021 with news to share of a number of projects coming to fruition.
They recently announced that they have secured a national agreement with Miele as a distribution partner, specialising in their wetcleaning WetCare package.
John Carmody, commercial director for Clean Supply, said of the deal: “This is a very exciting development for us, and for the sector. We now have the ability to enhance our offer with a complete package from start to finish for any existing or new wetcleaner and laundry.
“This could not have come at a better time, as wetcleaning is fast becoming the system of choice for many drycleaners who are looking at replacing old machines, or newcomers entering our industry, looking for an eco-friendlier sustainable solution.” Clean Supply can now offer wetcleaning training, Kreussler wetcleaning chemicals, pump systems for auto dosing and Miele wetcleaning washing machines and dryers. Miele have also just launched their new Benchmark range which includes the Performance Plus machines that offer optimal wetcleaning processes.
Carmody also tells us that Clean Supply has launched their new catalogue/ordering app and ‘it’s going down a storm’. He continues: “It has our complete range on it and you can order and pay once you have registered. It becomes your own catalogue, with your own prices and we’ll also share our monthly promotions through it.” There’s an introductory promotion running where orders placed through the app receive a 2.5 per cent discount and, if payment is made through the app at point of order there’s a further 2.5 per cent discount – a potential total savings of five per cent. You’ll need to download the app or visit their website for all the details. Finally, Clean Supply has strengthened their management team with Alan McCarthy joining them as UK operations manager. He’ll be heading up chemical sales, applications, installations, project management, new business development and team management including recruitment, training and development.
About the appointment Carmody said: “Alan is the perfect fit we were looking for with his wealth of experience in the laundry chemical business sector.”
McCarthy added: “After 37 years in the laundry industry, predominantly focused on laundry chemicals and process technology, I am delighted to be given this opportunity to remain in the industry.
“I have got to know the people at Clean Supply well and I believe with their enthusiasm, coupled with excellent chemicals and support provided by Kreussler, the company will continue to grow rapidly in the coming years.”
