Christeyns, a market leader within the commercial laundry market, hosted its international Laundry Business Unit Conference at the end of last month in Marrakesh.
Operations director Dave Aveyard and other senior members of the UK team joined over 50 colleagues from Christeyns businesses across Europe. This annual conference provides the opportunity for staff to reflect on the successes and challenges of the past 12 months and to set the scene for the coming year. Key issues such as industry trends, the impact of Brexit and exchange rate fluctuations were discussed, as well as looking at the laundry industry and new initiatives on a global scale.
The commercial laundry team were joined by Christeyns CEO Alain Bostoen and other members from company headquarters in Ghent, Belgium. The conference programme also included interactive workshops and financial updates.
With a continued focus on the environment and the challenges of producing innovat ive solutions, “Conferences such as this are essential for the success of the commercial division, providing opportunity to talk to and learn from other colleagues across Europe,” commented Aveyard.
