CanDo Laundry Services acquires Telford Laundry

Port Talbot based CanDo Laundry Services has confirmed the completion of the acquisition of Telford Laundry Ltd, marking a milestone in the growth of CanDo Laundry Services and ensuring job security for 60 local employees in the region.

The acquisition brings Telford Laundry into the CanDo fold, following a planned transitioning phase which has taken place over the last two years. Both sites will now be operated under the CanDo Laundry Services brand but with reference to their Port Talbot or Telford location. During the transitional phase, both companies worked hand in hand to identify opportunities for synergies and streamline operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient integration.

The decision to continue operating the factory as usual in Telford demonstrates CanDo Laundry Services’ strong desire to make sure that employees and their families were looked after and were welcomed smoothly into the CanDo family.” Shepherd entered the commercial laundry sector having started CanDo Laundry Services in 2012. However, in that short space of time the company has grown from strength to strength securing blue chip clients and strategically growing and developing via organic and M&A means.

CanDo Laundry Services is the two-time winner of SME Laundry of the Year at the LADA’s – last year and again back in 2017. Currently ranked the 7th Best Industrial Laundry Worldwide via CINET.
