Business as usual for CLMTexfinity following Chinese manufacturer’s rebrand

CLMTexfinity is reassuring European customers that nothing will change for them, as their Chinese manufacturing partner CLM announces a change to its brand name.

Effective from 1 May 2026, the company’s industrial equipment portfolio is being marketed worldwide under the name KingStar Automation, replacing the CLM brand that has been used internationally for many years. The rebranding represents a consolidation of the manufacturer’s product portfolio under a single global identity. Importantly, the change is limited to branding.

According to CLMTexfinity, the European partner for the manufacturer’s industrial laundry equipment, there are no changes to the ownership, structure, production facilities or organisation of the manufacturing company itself. CLM as a company, its production facilities and its organisation remain unchanged.

No Impact on European Customers

For customers across Europe, daily operations and business relationships will remain unchanged. The company emphasises that its corporate identity, sales organisation, technical support teams and service infrastructure remain exactly the same. Existing contracts, warranties, maintenance agreements and customer support arrangements continue without interruption.

Understanding the Brand Structure

To avoid confusion in the marketplace, CLMTexfinity has clarified the different names currently associated with the business:

  • Texfinity remains the official company name, headquartered in Arendonk, Belgium.
  • CLMTexfinity continues as the commercial brand under which industrial laundry equipment is marketed throughout Europe and Australia.
  • KingStar is the new global brand name adopted by manufacturing partner CLM from 1 May 2026.

Maintaining a Strong Partnership

For existing users of CLMTexfinity equipment, the message is straightforward: while the manufacturer’s global brand name may have changed, business continues as usual.
