Boxed Bridal’s new premises blush with pride

Boxed Bridal are rapidly becoming a well recognised and respected wedding dress care specialist in the cleaning world and 2024 has started with a big pink change to enable the growth and expansion to continue.

Previously as part of the very successful Pressing Needs laundry, drycleaning and ironing service, directors Malcolm and Nickie Jenvey felt confident that the time was right for Boxed Bridal to be separated away from the main business and to stand independently in its own right with its bold pink colouring with the easily identifiable boxed bow logo!

An incredibly exciting but daunting decision. However, with the unexpected availability of a 1,800sq ft unit becoming available directly opposite the main Pressing Needs processing site in Park Gate, Southampton, it was too good an opportunity to miss.

The services offered are extensive, including wedding dress cleaning or pressing for before or after a wedding, boxing for long term storage and safe keeping in an exclusive design preservation box, boxing for travel, onsite storage for wedding dresses, and cleaning of all other wedding accessories and attire.

Hosting personal appointments from the new studio means that Boxed Bridal are actually able to create a whole experience for a bride and even her family with the best part being the return to see the results that have been achieved. The team has always been amazed at how far a bride will travel to use their services, and now believe the journey is even more worthwhile especially when the doors are opened to reveal a dress to the bride with the stunning new backdrop. If coming in person is not an option, this is not a problem as Boxed Bridal arrange the journey using a tracked courier service so making their services available to all brides, nationwide.

Nickie says, “We are very mindful that this option can give a bride some concern, but with consistent good communication and updates, these brides that we never actually meet, do also share the Boxed Bridal experience with us.”

Recommendations and social media are hugely important in the business growth, and adding to this, establishing working relationships with other businesses is dramatically increasing with the Boxed Bridal services now being provided to other drycleaners and bridal boutiques locally and nationally, acting as agents with a commission/discount structure.
