Aberdeen Laundry Services has strengthened its reputation as one of Scotland’s sustainability leaders by becoming one of the first businesses in the textile services sector to achieve the prestigious Infinite Textiles Standard.

The accreditation recognises companies that go beyond compliance to demonstrate measurable progress in reducing environmental impact across energy, water, and waste.

In 2024 alone, Aberdeen Laundry Services delivered industry leading results, including:

• 26.25 per cent reduction in total carbon emissions year on year
• 21 per cent reduction in water usage intensity since 2022
• 38 per cent decrease in waste sent to landfill.

The business has also invested heavily in research and development, working closely with academic partners including the University of the West of Scotland, University of Dundee, and Heriot Watt University. These collaborations have supported advances in heat recovery optimisation, waste heat utilisation, and digital transformation across its operations.
